Snap of the Week: A Family Portrait

Many of my photo sessions are focused primarily on capturing the children only, so I'm delighted when Mom and Dad want to step-in for a few family portraits. This was my second opportunity to work with this family ... the first was to photograph Mom and son as a surprise gift for Dad. What a wonderful way to celebrate family and a special event!

It was an absolute pleasure to photograph this little boy with his Great Grandmother Hannah this past weekend. They just adore one another and it was a true testament of how love can keep your heart young. It's a gift to be given the opportunity to capture moments like this one. THANK YOU!

Snap of the Week: Anticipation

I love to photograph children, but there's also something very special about photographing a child before you've met them! Most pregnancy photos are taken during month 7 or 8 when Mom's belly is nice and round and she has minimal swelling and discomfort. This photo session was done outdoors with Mom, Dad and little sister. It was wonderful working with this family again and I look forward to meeting Baby #2!

Snap of the Week: Holiday Snap Sessions

A bit of a delay in my blogging, as I've enjoyed a few weeks off after the rush of the holidays. I enjoyed the festive sessions in November and December photographing children and their families dressed up for the holidays. Many of the photographs were used for mounted collages, enlargements and greeting cards, all of which were designed for each individual.
